Since 2017, the BXL TOUR has brought together thousands of semi-professional and amateur cyclists for a 40-kilometre race through Brussels. On 22 June 2025, this sporting challenge returns for its 9th edition.
Whether you’re a regular Mont Ventoux climber or a Sunday cyclist, there’s plenty of choice to experience the BXL TOUR. You can even run with your own electric bike! And the more the merrier: the discounted group package encourage you to take part in this sporting adventure with friends or family (aged 12 and over), or with colleagues via the corporate package.
Categories to suit every profile
Depending on what you’re looking for (more of a Sunday ride or a full-blown competition), you can choose from several categories: Master, Cyclo, Ride or Paracycling. The requirements to be taken into account include minimum average speed, age and type of bike. An award ceremony with a top 3 is planned for the Master, Cyclo and paracycling category from 11 am at the BXL TOUR finish village.
A 40 km sporting adventure
The BXL TOUR was originally intended for experienced cyclists. Now it’s completely open to all amateur sports enthusiasts. This 40km cycle route through Brussels, which starts at the Place des Palais and finishes at the foot of the Atomium, is a unique opportunity to discover the capital. Since 2022, the Ride category has been added to the BXL TOUR, with a route reduced to 32 km. This category without award ceremony has opened the race to people who want to discover the route in stroll mode or with an electric bike.
